Thank an Italian for successfully marketing Jesus and giving the world Oppo’s favorite dish. Easter is weird for me, as I’m not a Christian. Being Italian is a lot like being Jewish in that there’s a big grey area between culture and religion. Religious holidays are really family holidays. My pops ordered my nonni some lamb from a local Italian joint, so she’s taken care of. A thoughtful Pesach and Easter to everyone. Have some eggplant parm.

My dad's side of the family is Italian (lived in NY, dad lived in multigenerational home with people born in Italy), and my wife is Jewish. It makes for some interesting meals this time of year celebrating both sets of holidays and traditions. That's a good looking plate of food you got there. Stay safe
